National Paralympic day
National Paralympic Day featuring the Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival returns to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Visitors can enjoy a day of world class Paralympic sport, free community activities and a showcase of live music, street theatre and dance from the talented deaf and disabled artists of the Liberty Festival.
Date: Saturday 30th August 2014. 09.30 – 21.00
Prince Harry has launched a sporting championship for injured members of the armed forces.The Paralympic-style Invictus Games will see servicemen and women take part in sports like wheelchair basketball, indoor rowing and sitting volleyball.
The prince said the competition would recognize the sacrifice made by those who fought for their country.

The Colour Run
5k run around the QEOP during which participants dressed in white get pelted with colored powder by volunteers. Other activities include: Aerobics, Zumba class, MC/music etc. Volunteers throw powder at Colour Zones with trained member of event team managing each Colour Zone.
After the run people are expected to stay for a max of two colour throws at the end.

The distinctive looping structure of the ArcelorMittal Orbit is an icon of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The striking steel tower became a perfect symbol of the brilliance and originality of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Tickets to the ArcelorMittal Orbit are limited, book in advance to avoid disappointment and to beat the queues.

Partnership and the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, over the past 11 years Revolution Series has grown into the most successful elite track cycling league in the world. The forthcoming Revolution Series begins on 24/25 October at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London, Each round will feature an afternoon and evening session packed with action from leading male and female British and international cycling stars.
The NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters
The International Tennis Federation’s year-end singles championship will be held at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. The Tennis Foundation were awarded the rights to host the event from 2014 until 2016. An elite field will feature the top eight men, eight women and four quad players in the wheelchair world ranking between 24 and 30 November 2014.
